Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is an avid film critic who reviews Z-graded films, mostly in the horror or martial arts genres. Her style and method is similar to The Cinema Snob. However she is more inclined to watch silly action flicks with a morbid fascination. The reviewer began her journey in 2009, gaining some respect on their forums, under her previous username Obscurus Lupa. In 2010 she joined in the Channel Awesome Family. The channel remained part of the site from January until the beginning of 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents changed into Movie Nights. There are two podcasts she hosts on her channel. Both are based on the Charmed series, and are hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Videos of her are available here and here. Her Twitter profile, Tumblr page and Facebook account are also home to videos. If Allison isn't enough for you? Ninja the Mission Force shows her in action playing Interpol Ninja Cheetah. Brad Jones starred her in Jesus Bro! The appearances she made in Midnight Screenings were usually reviews of shite films for children or RiffTrax as well as some adult-oriented comedy. The first time she reviewed movies was in 2009. When she gained acclaim on Channel Awesome forums, she was invited to be part of the reviewing community. She has been on countless Channel Awesome episodes, including Atop the Fourth Wall as and Phelous & the Movies. She and Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would frequently appear in episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
