Alice Braga

Alice Braga, a Brazilian actor, is famous for her performance in Brazilian films and American television programs. Being from a family that includes performers, it seemed only appropriate for her to enter acting from a young age. She first appeared in an advertisement as a kid and later earned critical acclaim for her role in the Brazilian crime movie 'City of God' released in 2002. Her role as a character in the Brazilian film drama 'Lower City which debuted in 2005, was rewarded with a variety of accolades across the globe. Braga later appeared in the film of the same name, 'Journey to the Ende of the Night' (2006). Her international fame was boosted by playing opposite Will Smith in the American Post-apocalyptic Sci-Fi horror film 'I Am Legend' (2007). In the years since, she has appeared in numerous Hollywood movies, including "Repo Man" (2010) and 'Predators' (2010), 'The Rite' (2011) and 'Elysium' (2013). She is currently playing the lead role of Teresa Mendoza in the American Crime-drama 'Queen of The South'. She also has an ongoing guest appearance in the Brazilian web comedy series "Samantha!
